Please come out and support the following events, and stop by our booth to say hello! We welcome your support of our efforts at these events, to assist local charities and benefit functions, as well as to get the word out about Chesapeake Pet Resort & Day Spa's facilities, services, Petlane Products, and our awesome unique features! Solomons VFD "Quarter Auction" Sunday March 14, 2010, at the Solomons Fire House. Come out and bid on great products from your favorite vendors. We'll be there providing information about us and our great line of Petlane Products (www.petlane.com/chessiepets), so come on out! Leonardtown Spring Festival April 29 - May 2, 2010, at the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds, Leonardtown. Come out and support this fun event!
Earth Day on the Square in Leonardtown April 18, 2010, from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm for their 10th celebration. Come out and enjoy an afternoon in scenic Leonardtown to suport Earth Day with us!
Sotterly Garden Fair April 17th and 18th, 2010, in Hollywood, at the Sotterly Plantation. Event is 10 am - 4 pm, rain or shine.
* New info for 2010: Check-out time is now 10:00 am Mon - Sat, to avoid lodging fees for that day. Pet's checking out after 10 am are subject to 1/2 day and full day lodging fees for that day, depending on check out time. Customers should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to any closing times, especially first time customers, to confirm information and instructions. We appreciate those that understand how busy we are behind the scenes even when the office is closed, as well as around the clock, to ensure your pet's care and exercising and safety are consistent. Showing up at or after closing time with drawn out instructions and complicated medications and feeding protocols, missing vaccination records, and excessive items from home to log in, is frowned upon and will result in after-hours fees to cover staff overtime pay.
Ideal tour times are Mon - Sat hours listed. Unannounced tours are welcomed anytime during any of our hours listed above. Sunday's however, are often very busy during our brief 3-5 pm window for Lobby hours, with weekend pets checking out to go home, and not always our "best show" for tours. We like to be able to spend time with tour customers to answer any questions and view the entire facility. Daycare, Lodging, and Grooming customers can drop off pets as early as 7am with notice, and pick up by 7 pm or later, with prior notice. After-hours pick-ups will require pre-payment with office staff at check-in to limit delays to after-hours kennel staff duties and pet care responsibilities. Need an early drop off or late pick up otherwise? Give us a call! Grooming Appointments typically drop off their pets Mon - Fri 8-8:30 am to meet with our Certified Groomers to discuss your grooming instructions, and will be notified within a couple hours to pick your pet up when ready. Grooming Customers typically pick up their pets anytime before 5pm, once we have called that your pet is ready. Grooming pets are provided fresh water and potty breaks. Saturday and Sunday early morning grooming appointments are also offered by Liz and Michelle, our Nash Academy Certified Groomers. Kennel staff is also available 7 days a week, however, for basic baths due to grooming emergencies that arise, or for a quick "Fluff 'n Go" bath (pets playing with skunks, playing in the river, or rolling in trash or other goodies creating unpleasantness). Self-Service Grooming Customers are by appointment, with times available 7 days week, except Holidays. Proof of current vaccinations are required. Disclaimer: We are a business, with business hours. If you or a designated friend or relative is not able to arrive to pick up your pets during the posted hours listed above, you should plan on arriving the following day during posted hours listed above, just like any other business you visit. Office Staff leaves at designated closing times to tend to their own children and families. After-hours service is periodically available by appointment with the after-hours pet care staff, based on our availability. Phone messages left after-hours will be retrieved during business hours. Night staff does not answer the phone or check messages. Pet Care staff on-site after-hours and overnight will not be able to assist if you did not make prior arrangments for after hours service. After-hours staff will advise you to return when office staff is present, in accordance with our Security and Insurance Policies.
