Indoor/Outdoor Lodging

     At Chesapeake Pet Resort & Day Spa, your pet deserves more than just a place to stay—they deserve their own private sanctuary. Every guest enjoys a personal suite designed for rest, comfort, and security. Unless otherwise requested, each dog has their own spacious accommodation with an attached outdoor patio run, open daily from 7 a.m. until evening (weather permitting) for fresh air and exercise.

Each exterior patio door is fitted with PVC weather-strip flaps to protect against the elements while allowing pets to come and go freely. At night or during inclement weather, solid interior doors close securely, keeping pets safe and comfortable indoors. For added peace of mind, double-gated entry systems are in place throughout the resort to prevent escapes.

Daily Enrichment & Care
Our professional staff provide a minimum of five outdoor sessions per day in our secure play and potty yards, ensuring both stimulation and companionship. Families may also enhance their pet’s stay with curated experiences such as group play, scenic nature walks, or cozy snuggle time.

Comfort & Cleanliness
All guests are provided with fresh, clean bedding throughout the day—options include blankets, bolster beds, comforters, and Kuranda Pet Cots for maximum comfort. Our facility is climate-controlled, meticulously sanitized daily, and maintained to the highest standards to create an atmosphere of a five-star pet hotel.  We use gentle lavender aromatherapy in our humidifiers to create a calm and spa-like environment for your pets. Lavender essential oil is safe for dogs and offers natural benefits such as relaxation, anxiety relief and even light insect repellent properties—helping your furry friend feel happy, safe, and stress-free. 

Expert Monitoring & Safety
Our team is continuously trained to recognize signs of stress or health concerns, allowing for rapid, compassionate response at any hour. Should veterinary care be needed, we work closely with trusted local veterinarians. During storms or stressful events, pets receive individualized monitoring to ensure comfort and calm. Our comprehensive Emergency Plan also connects with local pet aid organizations for additional support.

Rates 

Overnight lodging is $45 per pet and $40 for each additional pet
